For over 67 years, the Theta Charity Antiques Show brought together top exhibitors, designers, collectors, and admirers of fine arts and décor in a beautiful three-day show with proceeds benefiting deserving local charities.
Since its founding in 1952, the Theta Charity Antiques Show gave nearly $8 million from the weekend events to cultural, community, educational, and medical causes in Houston. Funds raised from the Theta Charity Antiques Show supported our four permanent beneficiaries: Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens/The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Child Advocates, Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, and Texas Children’s Cancer & Hematology Centers. Additionally, many deserving local charities were selected each year to receive philanthropic support from the Show.
Plans are being made to continue the Houston Alumnae Chapter’s grand tradition of supporting local and national charities with a new philanthropic event. Stay tuned for more information! If you are a Theta Alumna who would like to be involved in this endeavor, please let us know by completing this year’s Interest & Dues Form.
